May 26, 2005 (Press Release) --
La Cabane D’Oiseaux, owned by Entrepreneur Dave Dow, is a popular spot for West Island natives to find hot and gourmet cooking sauces. Known best for its birding supplies, decorative and country flags, windsocks, kites, kitchen and patio furniture and many other quality decorative items, La Cabane d’Oiseaux is slowly becoming known as the place to get hot sauce by the West Island’s chiliheads. Pictured in front of his hot sauce wall, Dave Dow welcomes the notoriety that comes with being the source for hot sauce enthusiasts.
When asked how the sauces were selling, Mr. Dow commented that people were tilting their heads to read the labels.
“We’re very excited about the launch,” says Tina Brooks of Brooks Pepperfire foods. “It’s wonderful to have our sauces appearing in a shop that our customers are familiar with already. The website at http://www.peppermaster.com is really efficient, but it’s sometimes better to drive around the corner and pick up your favourite hot sauce than to have to wait a few days for delivery.
“We’ve got to thank the loyalty of our customers for Dave Dow’s interest in the products,” says Greg Brooks, the Peppermaster and President of Brooks Pepperfire Foods, “If it weren’t for their reaction to our sauces, Dave might not be so interested in providing this outlet. I was thrilled at the reaction of the customers when we told them! They all seem to know Dave’s store already.”
La Cabane D’Oiseaux, located at 48-3 rue Ste. Anne in Old Pointe Claire Village, is a popular choice for hot sauce fans to stock their pantries. In addition to hot sauces, La Cabane D’Oiseaux offers a beautiful selection of bird houses, kitchen and patio supplies and unique gift ideas.
