June 1, 2005 (Press Release) --
LIFETIME IS FERTILE
WITH “INCONCEIVABLE”
Network extends indie infertility film for three years
Orlando, FL – June 2, 2005 -- “Inconceivable,” the film that takes a realistic and compelling look at infertility and the world of assisted reproductive techniques, has been extended for three more years on the Lifetime Movie Network after a successful two year broadcast.
The film which first aired on Showtime for two years then on the Lifetime Movie Network, has generated a loyal following among couples facing infertility.
“We receive email from couples around the country who are facing the challenges of starting a family,” says Bob Weis, director of the film. “They write to tell us how much the film ‘hit home’ for them.”
Weis, and screenwriter Diane Fredel-Weis, who wrote the script, are partners in Fertile Films, producer of “Inconceivable.”
“We have heard from people as far away as Nigeria who sought out “Inconceivable,” says Fredel-Weis. “We’re glad that our film has had such a positive impact.”
Fredel-Weis continues her exploration of topical family issues in her new screenplay, a romantic comedy, “Single With Parents.”
“Inconceivable” stars Corinne Bohrer (“Veronica Mars,” “Joan of Arcadia”), Mo Gaffney (“Absolutely Fabulous,” “Mad About You”) and Jonathan Penner (“CSI,” “Arrested Development”).
Because of the popularity of the film, Fredel-Weis was invited by RESOLVE, the national infertility association, to be the keynote speaker at their annual conference.
Curb Entertainment is the distributor of “Inconceivable” and has licensed the film worldwide.
