June 2, 2005 (Press Release) --
Eureka Chemical Company, South San Francisco, CA is confident enough in the quality of their product to provide free 3 ¾ oz. sample cans to all attendee’s at the 2005 National Lawn & Garden Show in Chicago from June 7-8th. Fluid Film’s unique lanolin base locks out and displaces moisture and prevents oxidation on steel, aluminum, copper, chrome and brass. It stops the highly corrosive actions of salts, fertilizers and chemical herbicides and pesticides. It does not simply wash off with water, but creates a barrier of protection that continues to work even in the most corrosive of conditions. Fluid Film does not evaporate, meaning not only long lasting protection on all equipment, but deep penetration to free rusty bolts and frozen parts.
Fluid Film was first created over 50 years ago to combat the highly corrosive effects of salt-water corrosion in ballast tanks of navy vessels. Over the years, Fluid Film has branched out to become a highly versatile and viable alternative to solvent based products, becoming a key supplier in military operations and the only product of its kind to pass the rigid specifications to be used on the space shuttle. While most products of its kind contain between seventy and ninety percent solvent, Fluid Film contains none, except for the propellant used in its aerosol cans. This means that only ten to thirty percent of competing products are actual usable product. The rest quickly evaporates to become VOC, contaminating the atmosphere and being essentially useless to the customer.
In agricultural and landscaping markets, Fluid Film has a wide range of applications, from irrigation equipment to fertilizer spreaders, to under lawnmower decks to help prevent rust and ease caked grass deposits to loosing rusty bolts and keep moving parts from seizing. A light coating of Fluid Film will keep all tools from rusting and will not come off on clothes or hands.
Pick up a can of Fluid Film from Booth #1113 at the 2005 National Lawn & Garden Show in Chicago from June 7-8th, and discover why Fluid Film has become the world wide standard in corrosion prevention.
