SQL Hospitality LLC, a full service provider of hospitality software, systems and service to casinos, hotels, country clubs, restaurants, quick service and delivery businesses, has appointed Nancy J. Hopkins as senior vice president of sales and marketing. She brings to the position 19 years of sales and management experience in the world of hardware, software and point-of-sale (POS) services.
Prior to joining SQL Hospitality LLC, Nancy Hopkins was senior vice president of sales for Dallas-based Internet sales company, H2 Group, Inc. Previous to that, she held senior level sales executive positions at Compaq Computer Corporation, GTE, IBM and EDS.
While at IBM, Hopkins was worldwide director of corporate business intelligence. She created IBM's worldwide global business intelligence network, global market view, field intelligence program and competitive intelligence business processes.
She was Compaq Computer Corporation's #1 region sales manager in North America. She managed a large sales force of major account managers and inside sales managers and was ultimately responsible for $70m sales in Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana. Major customers included AMD, Blockbuster, Diamond Shamrock, Dow Chemical, Motorola, State of Texas, Tyson and Union Carbide.
Nancy Hopkins is a cum laude graduate of The University of Texas at Dallas. Her sales and management experience will be utilized at SQL Hospitality LLC to drive sales and develop a large sales force to provide our customers with outstanding customer service.
