The most convenient online schedule board has just gotten better!
For_Immediate_Release:

June 6, 2005 (Press Release) -- Sign-Out Board, the popular online office schedule board, has added two major enhancements to its service this year.

Contact Information can now be added for each name on the board, making it easier for staff and managers to stay in touch, especially in multi-office firms and large companies. A simple mouse-over pass next to each name will reveal the individual’s title, department, job position & location, email address and phone number, without exiting the board display.

Also, by popular demand, a new Sort feature has been added that now makes it possible to arrange employees’ names on the board by title, department, job or location, as specified in the contact information. And with two levels of sorting available, Users have even greater flexibility to arrange names and coordinate schedules as needed.

Since its release in June 2004, Sign-Out Board has gained in popularity as one of the newest personnel management tools available. Multi-office firms and service-oriented businesses especially, have found Sign-Out Board’s unique "mark-it" board format to be both convenient and simple to use. On one screen, you can view the entire weekly schedule for your staff, making managing workloads and assignments a simple, efficient process.

Managers can limit employee usage to view-only status, or allow personnel to post their individual information as needed. Passwords and assigned access levels ensure that the board remains secure from unauthorized use, and five years of weekly schedules make long-range forecasting or vacation and appointment planning an easy task.

Formatted to the standard five-day business week, the schedule board mimics the familiar, dry-erase marker board layout that many businesses still use. A simple click on a name opens an input window for that employee’s entire weekly schedule and an automatic refresh ensures that the information displayed is always current and up-to-date.

Users may log in to view and edit schedule information from any online connection, whether from at work, home, or on the road. A space-saving Comment feature also allows Users to add more detailed information to each day’s entry, viewable as a tooltip-type pop-up with a mouse-over pass.

Board Administrators control assigned Access Levels, Account information, board Color Scheme and the Adding or Deleting of names. Administrators may also assign Administrator rights to select individuals to manage the board settings and schedule information.

For managing staff and keeping track of personnel assignments, Sign-Out Board’s online connectivity and simple interface make it a powerful, yet simple management tool for any sized business.
