Buying a home is one of the largest investments that a person makes in life. So, why leave it to chance? As part of an ongoing commitment to make owning a home a reality for all Americans, and in observation of National Homeownership Month (June 2005), Jeff Hancock of Decatur First Bank and Rachel Watson, Realtor® of Keller Williams Realty Metro Atlanta will be conducting a Home Buyer’s workshop for residents of Decatur and Intown Atlanta.
Topics covered at the seminar include:
 What are the benefits of homeownership?
 What are the steps from start to finish?
 What types of financing are available?
 Why is insurance needed to close?
 What happens during the closing process?
This free workshop will take place:

The workshop will feature speakers from Decatur First Bank, Keller Williams Realty, Edifice Inspections, Inc., Dobbs Financial Solutions and Shamrock Title. Sign language interpreting services will be provided to deaf participants through Medley Interpreters, LLC. Deaf participants must contact Rachel before June 16, 2005 to request interpreting services.
The speakers will provide brief introductions about their services, after which a panel discussion and question-and-answer period will follow.
Home buyers interested in attending this workshop can register by calling (404) 564-5655. Space is limited, so people are asked to register early.
