Mountains, rivers, lakes, caves and forests compete with golden sand beaches and crystal clear seas on this stunning island where the main sources of income are agriculture, fishing and tourism. Laze on the beach or take in some Greek culture with a visit to an 8th century Byzantine monastery or the Archaeological Museum with its pre-historic artefacts.
Accommodation is at the modern 2* Doumas Studios in the resort of Katelios. These self-catering studios command magnificent sea views and are set on the outskirts of the resort within quiet countryside surroundings. The studios feature a large pool, poolside bar, sun terraces and a superb restaurant serving local cuisine.
The price of £177pp is based on two sharing self-catering accommodation and return flights from Luton. Local transfers are not included (return taxi transfer is approximately £63) – car hire is recommended. A ticket on departure charge of £10 and a fuel surcharge of £7 will also apply.
