Comet Construction Software, a leading supplier of accounting software for the construction industry, announces the new release of its Comet2005 software suite for builders, developers and contractors

The Comet2005 v6.1.3 release incorporates a number of new features that will enhance the product's power and flexibility. Some of the many new features include:
- The ability to sort A/P checks alphabetically by Vendor Name.
- The ability to summarize overflow checks and print the summaries on plain paper, instead of actual check stock.
- The Job Cost Estimate Entry screen was enhanced to display more of the cost phase description.
- The Projected Final Cost Summary Job Cost report was enhanced to show additional information related to the cost estimate and summary details.
- The Bank Reconciliation program has been revamped and made more user-friendly. Additional screen fields and a summary report have been added to make the reconciliation process a breeze.
- An A/R Aging Report sorted and totaled by Job Supervisor has been added. Reporting options include both detailed and summary formats.
- The Warranty Work Order print program has been enhanced to include the company address information.
- The Warranty Work Item entry screen has been enhanced to allow more flexible entries into the Description fields.
- The Warranty Open Work Item report has been enhanced to include up to 50 print lines of data. The previous version of the report only provided up to 5 lines.
