The Beyond Handy Company, makers of The Defiant Digit is pleased to announce the introduction of The Smiley Digit.
Robert Simon, the creator of The Defiant Digit, who’s intent is to make for safer nighttime driving and reducing Road Rage to a minimum, announced today that The Smiley Digit will have the same effect as the original version, by the simple push of a button.
Says Mr. Simon, “The Defiant Digit is a humorous automobile accessory, but I was having concerns with people afraid of some kind of retaliation by the offending tailgaters. I’ve stated before, all I am trying to accomplish is safer driving habits and add a little humor to a dangerous driving practice”.
The Smiley Digit, is an updated version of The Defiant Digit, an illuminated hand with the middle finger raised, but now has a smiley face that glows with the outline of the hand.
“It’s still a message to tailgaters to keep a safe distance from my vehicle and dim your high beams, but now it sends an additional message….. Have a Nice Day!”
The Smiley Digit will retail at the same price as The Defiant Digit, $19.95 for the version that will fit most vehicles. Longer power cord lengths are available to fit any vehicle and custom lengths for extreme stretch limousines and recreational vehicles.
Mr. Simon also states, “Our roadways are getting more and more crowded, with practically everyone in a rush to get somewhere fast and not taking into consideration how their driving actions can affect other drivers. Serious accidents can and have occurred, and all for the sake of arriving at their destinations five minutes sooner.”
