What is RSS?
RSS stands for 'Really Simple syndication' or 'Rich Site Summary'. RSS is a XML format for syndicating web content like headlines, update notices, logs, news etc. It was designed by Netscape originally.

It gives them notification of these updates in the form of a small snippet, which contains title and a small description of the updated stories.
Newsletter emails were and are used for such purpose in past. RSS turns the concept of newsletters on its head by letting people pull the news and updates from site rather than publisher pushing them to people’s inboxes.
How to access RSS feeds?
