June 9, 2005 (Press Release) --
In an effort to bridge geographic gaps between young student athletes HSSA has launched its, "TOMORROWS LEADERS", online community. Deserving youth, along with their families and coaches, may now benefit from the many great resources starting at the age of 6. Some of the programs include mentoring, free educational classes and select internship offerings. HSSA, while working with some of the most elite athletes in the world, has caught the attention of major corporations along with the top colleges and universities which are in search of worthy candidates.
HSSA's class of 2005 consists of some of the finest young minds and future leaders in the entire United States. HSSA will be represented at the finest colleges and universities including Harvard and all three of the military academies.
"HSSA's class of 2005 truly gives our country great hope for the future. All of our kids and high school students, are from all ethnic and financial backgrounds, have consistently shown tremendous work ethic and leadership skills throughout their young lives. They are good kids who stay out of trouble. The networking opportunities made available to these families will prove to be invaluable over time. This was our first year on the national level and despite some data base problems, we could not be more pleased with the overwhelming support from parents, coaches and educators."
Shawn Prendergast's enthusiasm for our future and belief in our youth is contagious to say the least. Direct any student athletes, coaches or parents you may know to the HSSA website at http://www.hssaus.com
