CENTRALIZED NATIONALIZED NETWORKING FOR SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS
The biggest fear most entrepreneurs have about going into business for themselves is the ability to sell their products or services. Small business owners now have a national organization to help them grow their enterprises on a local and national level. Vendor Central USA is the brainchild of Caryn FitzGerald and chapters are springing up all over the country!
Vendor Central USA (VCUSA) is an organization for self-employed men and women age 18 and over. Unlike many groups which cater only to women (work at home moms or WAHMs) VCUSA welcomes men also and has success education as its foundation. As a group that helps educate business owners to be more successful, it is taking a huge chunk out of the daunting statistics that show 50% of all small businesses failing within their first two years.
The main focus, states Caryn FitzGerald, founder, is educating people in business for themselves on how to enhance their lifestyle and achieve the goals they have set for themselves. Unlike many small business organizations which focus only on an expo mentality and depend upon bringing customers to their functions, VCUSA takes its show on the road and brings its membership and their individual businesses to long standing community events. So rather than assisting VCUSA members in meeting tens or hundreds of customers, they unite them with tens of thousands of customers.
VCUSA has chapters all over the United States and each chapter holds four expos per year, monthly meetings, and they jointly sponsor booths at other events. VCUSA members get the education to be successful and the means to promote themselves and their businesses to the outer reaches of their community.
Vendor Central USA provides chapter resources at live meetings as well as resources at their website, http://www.vendorcentralusa.com. Membership fees are low compared to joining a chamber of commerce or a leads or networking group, while networking and educational opportunities are vast. Caryn FitzGerald and Vendor Central USA are currently accepting applications for Chapter Directors in all 50 states. Chapters cover a radius of 50-60 miles and for small business owners who do not have a relatively local chapter, national membership is available.
Perhaps the biggest thing that sets Vendor Central USA apart from other networking and business referral groups, aside from the educational opportunities, is the openness of membership. VCUSA does not limit membership to a small number of people from the same company, the same industry, the same geographic location, or even the same direct sales company. Rather than operating on a principal of supply versus demand or direct competition, VCUSA subscribes to a principal of co-opitition which enables all members to grow their businesses while assisting others in growing theirs as well.
Vendor Central USA is successfully offering members all over the country business growing opportunities that are both centralized and nationalized.
