Local company finishes its “scariest” project yet at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, New Chamber of Horrors™
Las Vegas, NV - Madame Tussaud’s and Universal Studios formed a unique partnership to create a live scare attraction using the wax figures, created by Tussauds artisans, of the most famous monsters in movies like Frankenstein and The Mummy. Combine them with live actors in an unbelievable movie-like set with all the special effects makes Las Vegas’s New Chamber of Horrors scare attraction, Monsters Alive!, an experience you won’t soon forget.
After six months of planning Tussauds Group Ltd. based in London called on Themeing Solutions, a specialty themeing contractor based in North Las Vegas, to pull off a turn-key, fast track demolition and build-out including an old style cinema, Frankenstein’s laboratory and a mummy’s tomb! The sets and all the props built and furnished by Themeing Solutions were specified by Tussauds and developed in conjunction with Universal Pictures to assure their authenticity. According to Scott Desborough, the London based project manager for Tussauds Group, “we were fortunate to work with Themeing Solutions.” The job was completed in less then eight weeks with most of the work being done at night. This is not unusual for Themeing Solutions, who also builds special themed features and interiors for casinos and restaurants. Per Peter Mensching, President of Themeing Solutions, “our clients like to make every effort to minimize disruption for their guests.”
This dedication to detail, team work, creativity and the desire to please our clients has enabled Themeing Solutions to do repeat business with such prestigious customers as Wynn Design & Development, MGM Mirage, Silverton Hotel and Casino and many others.
