June 16, 2005 (Press Release) --
All American Tickets Inc has moved further into the e-commerce world by acquiring Sportevents.net. “It really was a logical step for us,” said Cindy Aquaro of All American Tickets. “Bringing in the experience and reputation of the Sportsevents.net staff will help us continue to provide the best for our customers for years to come.”
Though sportsevents.net has been on the web since 1998, they were hindered by their smaller inventory. All American brings over $1 million in ticket inventory to the table. This, combined with the technical expertise and existing client base offered by Sportsevents.net, has propelled All American into a class of its own.
“Our customers are the real winners,” said Fred Nitzman, of sportsevents.net. “The increased inventory has helped us provide better seats and better prices to more events. We are happy to join the All American team.”
The move comes at a very opportune time for All American. As they gear up for the start of the NFL season and the end of the MLB season with the World Series, their clients will experience the ease and convenience of 24 hour access to All American Ticket’s unbeatable inventory and the ability to buy their tickets right from their home computer.
“We had examined the option of building our own website,” said Cindy, “but without much experience in ecommerce, we decided this was the way to go.” After a fledgling attempt, www.allamericantickets.com, All American tickets quickly realized that an acquisition was the better option. Sportsevents has completed the transition by moving its state of the art technology center to All American’s offices.
Many customers expressed great interest in the new website. “All American has always given me the choice of the exact seats I want. Having that available online makes it that much easier. The seating charts also give you an idea of where you can sit. It really has made planning so much easier,” said Heather of Philadelphia.
All American has also said it will provide another route for its corporate clients. “Many business people don’t have time to wait on the phone. Now they can see what’s available for their business associates in a few simple clicks.”
This latest acquisition plants All American firmly in front of the ticket broker business. With special services for corporate clients and a unique gift certificate program, All American’s move into the World Wide Web is really a win for the ticket broker industry as a whole.
