July will see the new CD release from Detroit City rockers KRESCENT 4 on
BAD HABIT RECORDS. The band, all friends since childhood, consists of: STIMY/vocals, KRIS KELLER/guitar, KURT KELLER/drums, and ADAM NINE/bass. When a band has brothers in it, you know they got their "chops" together. The legendary, three time Grammy nominated, BRAD GILDERMAN engineered and produced the recordings at OCEAN STUDIOS in Burbank,CA. BRAD has previously worked with Motley Crue, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Britney Spears, Madonna, 'N Sync, Destiny's Child, etc. So we know he's got his act together. Said Kris, "He is a class act producer that pulls the very best out of you. We kept using the phrase "lock it in" when we were tracking and saying it's very loud." The final mix was at BRAD'S own LITTLE BIG ROOM. With early influences like MUDDY WATERS, THE CULT, ELVIS, & TOOL, these powerful songs are a mixture of modern rock with the flavor of ALICE IN CHAINS and MONSTER MAGNET. Tight drums, pulsating guitar, and moody lyrics push this great CD foward. The vocals remind one of Phil Lynott from THIN LIZZY.
