On June 25th 2005, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. DFW Airport will be hosting Texas Day at the new International Terminal D. The Airport will provide free parking for the event, which will feature a walking tour of the new terminal. There will be family activities and local artists, whose works will be featured in the new terminal will be present.
This addition to the already 3rd largest airport in the world, is expected to generate $34 billion dollars and create over 77,000 new jobs in the next 15 years. DFW Airport is the single largest economic generator in the region, as it allows easy access to many travelers to major cities.
