With the little dogs getting all the glory lately, the big dogs decided it was time to take back the throne!

While sitting and watching television with my mom last week my favorite channel, Animal Planet, she suddenly decided to do that thing humans do and start changing channels. I don't get the channel changing thing, especially away from Animal Planet, but she did end up on a program on dogs on MSNBC http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8133310/
The only problem is the little dogs keep winning everything. I want to know what happened to the real dogs! So I decided to hold a contest on my blog http://www.bark-n-blog.com taking the throne back to the big dogs. I'm a Neo Mastiff after all and I'm just doggone tired of the little dogs winning everything!
This week, June 22 for one week, I'll be accepting entries into the first part of this two part contest –The Big Dogs are Taking Back the Throne! To enter you must be a big dog meaning forty pounds or bigger. Since I'm a naturalist, I decided you have to be doing natural care too or starting it or looking into it. Tell me about what you're doing and then send me a photo. I'll be looking at all the photos and posting them to my blog. Well, Mom will be helping me of course. You'll have to get all the details on the blog on June 22, 2005.
Yes, I know dogs don't normally write media releases but I had to get this news out since I've got my hackles all in a bunch about taking back the throne and on a Neo Mastiff that can be a big mess with our wrinkles and all. I've got to get them smoothed out and take back the throne! Here's the one twist: WE, meaning Mom and me won't be doing the judging. The audience will. Whichever dog gets the most positive comments to the blog will win the first part of the contest. The winner will receive an entire Doggie Spa gift package from our Natures Paws store http://www.aspenbloompets.com The second phase of the contest will start following the announcement of the winner for the first contest. The second part of the contest will involve a very exclusive new product line with an elegant court of royalty for "Big Dogs Are Taking Back the Throne" with Mastiff sized prizes! WOOF! We're taking it back!
