Cut and scratch on your PC or Mac with M-Audio's Evolution X-Session! This USB DJ mixer puts you in the center of the action with total control over today's hottest music software. X-Session lets you scratch and cut using its classic 60mm cross-fader. 10 assignable buttons let you trigger loops and digital effects, or instantly mute and unmute tracks. 16 assignable knobs give the X-Session control over volume and panning, digital effects and synth parameters.
X-Session comes with Ableton Live XS loop sequencing software and Arturia Storm XS, the revolutionary integrated music studio with built-in instruments, effects and sequencer. You'll have a complete, powerful digital DJ experience right out of the box!
With the Evolution X-Session you can kill tracks, then slam them back in at the touch of a button with the unique controller mute function. This function allows you to mute the output of all controllers, position them to the new value you want, then use the X-Session to slam them back into the mix.
No mouse needed!
The X-Session USB controller also provides finger-tip control for a whole host of popular software plug-ins and virtual instruments, eliminating the frustrations of trying to use a mouse. Fast and precise control is provided by X-Session's 16 fully assignable high resolution controllers. Each of these controllers can be assigned to a different MIDI channel so that multiple plug-ins can be controlled on separate channels. Synths and modules can also be controlled via the standard MIDI Out socket. Evolution X-Session also has 10 memory locations for storing your personal settings. These are non-volatile too, so everything is saved even when the X-Session is powered off.
