The number of customers visiting GM dealerships rose 30% in Los Angeles and San Diego and 20% in Miami in the first half of June compared with a year earlier, reported Los Angels Times, quoting Art Spinella, president of Bandon, Ore.-based CNW Marketing Research Inc. According to a J.D. Power and Associates study, GM is taking market share from Chrysler, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Hyundai.
All the three GM Dealerships affiliated to Bay Area Drives GM – Oakland Auto Center, HUMMER, SAAB, Saturn of Pleasanton and Saturn of Concord – are participating in the event.
