The BimmerSpinner, brainchild of American technologist, inventor and BMW owner Jerry Skene, is a BMW-badged centre-cap for the BMW alloy wheel. Unlike standard wheels, and indeed in an unexpected twist on its own name, there’s no spinning involved. The BMW badge remains legible and upright at speeds of up to 150mph in mechanical tests and 100MPH in road tests, and when the vehicle comes to a halt, all 4 badges on all 4 wheels remain uniformly upright.
