One of Europe's leading mobile content brands MOBSI, has announced today, the result of their first feasibility studies in South Africa. MOBSI, owned by the 3business group, is already one of the key players in the European mobile content market. The group launched the MOBSI brand in South Africa 3 months ago as part of an ongoing drive for increased share in overseas markets. A spokesman for the 3business group said “While many of our competitors have neglected to consider the South African market, the 3Business Group has been astute in realising the potential at an early stage, early trials have provided excellent return on investment and have paved the way for a full scale roll out in coming months.” a report last month by the Center for Economic Policy Research added further gravitas to the companies claims by concluding that “Mobile phone use in Africa is growing faster than anywhere else in the world”
