Learn How To Write Successful
Grant Proposals at RCS Workshop
In Spokane
A workshop, conducted by a veteran grant writer and evaluator, on how to prepare successful applications to obtain some of the millions of dollars available in federal and private grant monies, will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. July 18 at the Red Lion River Inn, 700 N. Division Street in Spokane, Wash.
Conducted by Don Myers, a 25-year veteran of writing, evaluating and managing local, state and federal grants for two Western states, the workshop will cover finding sources of grants, mistakes to avoid, types of grants available, major components of a grant proposal and finding Internet funding sources, among other subjects.
“The money one spends right now for grant writing training will pay off thousand-fold in government and corporate grants in the future,” said Myers, who now serves as a consultant to organizations, government agencies and others who seek funding from grant programs.
Open to representatives and employees of municipal, county, state, school and nonprofit organizations, workshop fees are $195 per person for professionals and $145 for those connected with nonprofit organizations. Group rates are available upon request.
To register, call toll free 1-888-829-0837. Registration can also be conducted online at www.rcsgrantwriting.com.
