July 7, 2005 (Press Release) --
Princeton, NJ — June 27, 2005— Decision Technology, Inc. (www.Decision-Technology.com) – developers of DecisionCentric® business intelligence software that enables users to integrate, analyze and publish enterprise data from disparate data sources – will soon add support for non-relational, mainframe data to DecisionCentric. Since its release, the product has supported relational data. It will support non-relational, legacy data as well by August 1, 2005.
With this announcement, DecisionCentric evolves from a powerful query and reporting tool, to a broadly applicable Enterprise Information Integration (EII) engine optimized for midsize organizations. Many mid-market products that claim “cross-platform compatibility” can only access one data type at a time. DecisionCentric can concurrently access any combination of enterprise data sources in a single user request.
Enterprise Information Integration provides the strategic advantage mid-size organizations require for their business intelligence solution. Only organizations with “Enterprise” budgets can afford to set up and keep managing a data warehouse. Until now,” said Mark Berkowitz, president of the company, “information-starved organizations were at the mercy of large BI vendors for a solution with the power DecisionCentric delivers. This enhancement provides mid size organizations with a clear choice -- from a company with a solid reputation for superior products and small enough to care about the customer after the sale.”
About Decision Technology, Inc.
Decision Technology business intelligence software is the ideal solution for organizations with limited IT resources, and whose data are confined in disparate databases or operational systems. Since 1985, Decision Technology has provided organizations with intuitive, information retrieval software for decision support applications. Its newest business intelligence software product, DecisionCentric, provides Enterprise Information Integration with query and reporting tools optimized for small and medium size organizations. It enables users to integrate, publish and analyze enterprise data across disparate data sources – without expensive ETL technology.
