Marketing Expert to Present “Branding Your Business to Build Equity”
Marketing Resources & Results, Inc., President, Chris Brown is teaming up with The Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce and National City Bank to present Branding Your Business to Build Equity at The Tangier in Akron on Friday, July 8, 2005 at 7:45 a.m.
“I am very excited to this opportunity to present to such a prominent group of business professionals,” said Chris Brown. “I truly enjoy sharing my knowledge of branding and marketing with others. This presentation can help professionals gain important real world marketing techniques that they need to succeed in their marketing endeavors.”
Chris Brown will be sharing innovative solutions for creating and increasing brand awareness in her presentation Branding Your Business to Build Equity. The presentation will take place at The Tangier in Akron located at 532 W. Market Street. Admission is $20.00 for non-members and $10.00 for members.
Since beginning her firm Marketing Resources & Results in 1998, located in Hudson between Akron and Cleveland, Brown has successfully helped more than 30 companies introduce new products, build brands for target markets, and meet marketing goals. Prior to starting her marketing firm, she gained valuable experience during her 14 years in the toy industry developing on national consumer brands such as G.I. Joe, Transformers, Playskool, Little Tikes, and Rubbermaid. In February 2001, Brown received the Distinguished Sales and Marketing Award for her achievements in Marketing from the Sales and Marketing Executives of Akron.
Brown graduated cum laude from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. While working full time at Hasbro, she pursued an MBA in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island. She is currently a marketing instructor at Cleveland State University and The University of Akron in their continuing education departments.
