July 7, 2005 (Press Release) --
The Wyoming Military Department recently contracted Coover-Clark & Associates, a Denver-based architecture firm, to conduct Level I Reconnaissance Studies and Level II Feasibility Studies for the design of their new headquarters complex in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Level I Reconnaissance Studies entail a comprehensive review and subsequent documentation of the physical, political, legal, environmental, and economic opportunities and constraints of the proposed project and alternatives. The Level II Feasibility Studies include a detailed analysis of the factors relevant to construction, operation, and maintenance, identification of potential problems and opportunities concerning the development, and identification of the desired sequence of events including permitting and financial activities.
The Wyoming Military Department initiated the project to replace their existing facilities, which have been determined to be outdated for present military functions, are significantly outgrown, and are incompatible with current technology due to their age.
In preparation for the project, Coover-Clark & Associates assembled a dynamic team of highly qualified project personnel and sub consultant teaming partners with extensive experience working for both the Wyoming and Colorado Military Departments. The project team will be lead by Carol Coover-Clark, AIA, NCARB, President of Coover-Clark & Associates. Seven distinguished consulting firms located in Wyoming and Colorado will support Carol and the Coover-Clark staff.
