Invent-Tech, Inc., a Coral Gables, Florida-based inventor assistance firm, counts trade shows as one of its most successful methods of promoting their diverse invention roster. One of the annual stops on Invent-Tech’s itinerary is the landmark event of the multi-million dollar promotional products industry, the ASI Show. The summer 2005 edition was held at the customary venue in Chicago, the spacious McCormick Place, and spanned two fast-paced and productive days, July 13th and 14th. As usual, this year’s proceedings were extremely well attended by a wide variety of professionals. Invent-Tech staff had the opportunity to make key contacts with fellow exhibitors involved in a multitude of industries and products. Additionally, attendees of the show representing companies dealing with everything from toys and games to pet products exchanged contact information with Invent-Tech personnel, many with an active interest in seeing details on relevant inventions in the near future.
Invent-Tech does not exhibit physical prototypes or models of inventions at trade show events so as not to endanger confidentiality or future patent rights. However, there is considerable value derived from the sharing of the detailed invention information under confidentiality that takes place during the follow-up process with the numerous contacts that are made.
