July 21, 2005 (Press Release) --
Edmonton, AB, Canada (July 21, 2005) – Canadian writer, S.L. Bartlett recently joined BookAdz.com, a site that promotes Canadian and American writers. She signed up as a member first, until she was offered a job with the BookAdz Team as Lead Interviewer and Book Reviewer.

She has written several editorials and freelance items for her local and county newspaper, as well as satirical essays. She is a staff writer, interviewer and book reviewer for Silver Moon Magazine, a new American e-zine which is set to launch at the end of this year. Bartlett has been busy with projects for both BookAdz.com and Silver Moon Magazine, yet she has found time to put together ad copy presentations for other businesses.

Freelancing as a copywriter is enjoyable work for this Canadian writer, and she also finds time in her hectic schedule to write articles that can be found at BookAdz.com. Most of her articles relate to some aspect of writing, which makes S.L. Bartlett an excellent resource for writers. Her articles include Beginner’s Guide to Query Letters, Blow Your Own Horn, Developing Realistic Dialogue, Organize Your Novel, Housework & Writing and Do We Take or Leave Criticism? As an interviewer with BookAdz.com, Bartlett has interviewed Canadian travel writer, Diana Ellis, and American authors, Shirley Cheng and Beverly J. Scott. To view some of her work, check out S.L. Bartlett at http://www.bookadz.com/sbartlett.htm.

S.L. Bartlett is currently working on a political conspiracy thriller, a YA fantasy novel and a satirical spoof on Canadiana. She is searching for a publisher and an agent for her numerous projects, and is available for freelance opportunities.

She is a mother of 3 boys, and a writer, in that order. She currently lives in rural Alberta with one useless longhaired Chihuahua, a Degu which is like a rat but with more class, and two cats. When she is not glued to the computer writing to purge her restless imagination, she is cooking and snowmobiling for fun.
