A new site on the World Wide Web enables consumers find the best Trade, Professional and Service companies for their requirements. This assistance is enabled by consumers who have already used that company’s service and left a relevant rating on Me, Customer! (www.mecustomer.com)


Magnus Persson, one of the founders of the website explains it so:

All consumers find themselves at one stage or another feeling ‘unsatisfied’ with a Trade, Professional or Service company that they have utilized; be it poor workmanship, bad performance, being overcharged, or even totally ripped off.
Traditionally when a person needs a Trade, Professional or Service company to perform a job, one normally makes a choice on the basis possibly of one recommendation, or, by just selecting a name out of the phone book. Modern technology allows this ‘word of mouth / grapevine’ system to be taken to a new level on the Internet.


As a customer, one desires to select the best Trade, Professional or Service company that one can. One expects a good job, honest service, and a fair and reasonable price. Me, Customer! (www.mecustomer.com) assists with that selection.


The purpose of 'Me, Customer!' actually goes further than just a rating / ranking of company service levels, proficiency, honesty and competences. Exceptional customer service begins with companies recognizing their weaknesses and identifying criteria on how they can improve. Based on our not always positive experiences with various Trade, Professional and Service companies, and the related time and money wasted, and increased stress levels, we decided to take action. Our team members are based in USA, UK, Germany & Switzerland. In the next months we will formalize the organizational structure.


Why global? These days’ people are more mobile with their purchassing power. I can cross over easily to Canada, my European colleagues to France, Germany, Switzerland or Italy. With increased mobility and globalization, many country borders are becoming ‘fuzzy’.


Though the site is just 48 hours old (Launch 20 July 05), we are seeing an incredibly climbing hit curve as the word begins to spread.
