POMPANO BEACH, FL – July 26, 2005 – Florida-based CobbQ, Inc., the U.S. distributor of the Cobb BBQ Grill, has announced a new Sales Agent Program in an effort to expand their sales base nationwide. The three levels of sales programs are tailored to agents interests, available time, and ability to travel.
“The opportunities to show the Cobb Grill are endless. Whether you prefer to sell the Cobb Grill to friends and family at backyard BBQ parties or actively pursue local festivals and shows,” said Christina Ortega, sales and marketing director of CobbQ, Inc. “Past experience has shown that the best sales agents are first Cobb BBQ Grill owners. This is the only way you can knowledgably explain and demonstrate the product. This requirement has proven to be successful worldwide with all Cobb Sales Agents.”
Becoming a CobbQ Sales Agent requires owning a Cobb BBQ Grill for at least 3 months and preparing 8 or more different meals on it. Like a home-based business, Cobb sales agents make their own schedule, part-time or full-time, for either an aggressive agent that plans to sell the Cobb at festivals or shows, or for agents that plan to sell the Cobb part-time to friends or while RVing cross-country. The investment is directly proportional to the agent’s commitment, which is reflected in the three program levels that vary from $500 to $5,200. CobbQ will provide training to assist agents with local shows, advertising and public relations in their area.
A CobbQ Show Staff Program is also under development for those interested in working at local shows on a commission only basis, without the investment of becoming an authorized sales agent.
An aggressive show and festival schedule for 2005 – 2006 has been planned. CobbQ Sales Agents and CobbQ Show Staff will have the ability to supplement their income, through product demonstrations, at shows in their area.
