Recognized Chilean Sculptor Oscar Plandiura opens inaugural exhibition in the U.S. from August 5th - 12th with a reception on August 5th at 8p.m. at 100 Market Street in Venice Beach California.

Oscar Palndiura was born in Chile on May 6, 1966 . He studied art at the National School of Craftsmen in Chile and in 1990 received a degree in Sculpture from the Faculty of Art at the University of Chile His Thesis ' My Experience in Sculpture" displayed remarkable advances in technique and composition and received unanimous recognition with the highest honors from the faculty at the University.
Between 1990 and 2000 Oscar Plandiura completed several collections and public works, which have earned him wide recognition in Chile among the artist community and the public at large.
Today Plandiura is one of the most sought after Chilean sculptors and spends most of his time expanding his collection at his workshop in Santiago de Chile. He also spends time at his studio in Venice Beach, California
