August 8, 2005 (Press Release) --
Virtually all suppliers of network-based call centre services based on intelligent network architecture were invited to participate in this tender. “This was probably one of the biggest contracts for intelligent networks in Europe this year,” said Dr. Marshall E. Kavesh, CEO and co-founder of ECT. “This highly discriminating and well known carrier rated our proposal the best across the board, attesting to our ability to provide state-of-the-art technology and a bespoke solution to fit exactly the needs of business customers. We are convinced that the new service will be a great financial success and are dedicated to contributing to that success wherever and whenever possible.”
This latest tender is the most recent in a series of large-scale contracts for network-based call centres based on the INtellECT® Intelligent Network. Earlier this year, Tele2 also awarded ECT a contract for its new network-based call centre services in France.
Similarly, the UK’s largest alternative carrier, Telewest, has recently expanded its network-based call centre service, SRS Advanced Solutions, based on ECT technology (e.g., for the realisation of AOL’s inbound telephony services in the UK).
Other fixed-line carriers across Europe, such as BT Global Services and Completel, also utilise the ECT effECTive® Service Number Suite for their network-based call centre services.
