A wonderful way to explore the beauty of Zion Canyon and Springdale, Utah!

Explore historic Springdale, Utah, the gateway to Zion National Park, using the newest high-tech transportation device, the Segway HT (Human Transporter). Glide along in style and ease, enjoying the remarkable experience of exploring this colorful canyon and its unique town on the futuristic Segway. With a backdrop of Zion’s soaring cliffs, Springdale is full of art galleries, boutiques, shops filled with local arts and crafts and lovely B&B’s. Segway tour guests cruise along through town, visit the local Elk farm and ride along the riverside trails.
Utilizing Segways for sightseeing increases visitor’s ability to explore more of the area in less time. Segways offer increased mobility for those who would be unable to walk or hike the 6+ mile loop.
Segways easily climb hills, travel over grass and dirt, taking guests off the beaten path going ”over the river and through the woods” crossing the Virgin River into the east canyon area. Using state-of-the-art wireless headsets, experienced local guides teach about Zion Canyon’s history, geology, plant and animal life as they glide along. The stories behind the neighboring ghost towns and the pioneers who settled the Southwest are fascinating even to long time local residents.
Segway tours run in small groups of 6 to 8 riders and they do glide in style and comfort. During the summer months riders stay cool with the personal misters and cooling provided.
Tours are offered year-round Monday through Saturday. Morning, afternoon and evening tours are approximately two and one half hours long. For visitors who want to try riding a Segway but do not have the time for a full tour, there is also a Mini-Tour which lasts just one hour including training. Morning tours start with a continental breakfast at the historic Pioneer Lodge Café, lunch tours includes a picnic at a riverside park, and the evening tour is the perfect way to end your day visiting this beautiful area.
Custom tours are available for corporate functions and larger groups. All Segway tour riders must be at least 12 years old and be within the 100 to 250lbs (45kg-113kg) weight range.
