August 11, 2005 (Press Release) --
August 11th 2005, Kankakee IL, Many US based companies small and large are making a “noticeable difference” for older consumers. The Senior Business Bureau, a new non-for-profit organization is assisting businesses every step of the way. The organization educates business owners and managers on how to become more “senior friendly.” The organization makes small noticeable changes to better serve the senior community.
Changes that business make on behalf of the Senior Business Bureau are much needed. Changes such as better parking, cleaner restrooms, and job recruiting are just a few services that are being made for seniors across the country. “We want a noticeable difference for older consumers.” states Andy Maisonneuve President. “Its time for businesses to start seeing the benefits of the changes we are making.”
Health emergencies are also on the agenda for the Senior Business Bureau. As the baby-boomers continue to grow older, health related emergencies are expected to triple in the coming years. The Senior Business Bureau has near future plans to provide life saving equipment in business that participate with the bureau. Equipment such as stretchers, air bags for CPR, and life saving heart defibulators are coming.
The Senior Business Bureau has helped thousands of seniors find employment already. The organization created SeniorHelpWanted.com 3 years ago, and has assisted many seniors coast to coast to create resumes, and coached seniors for job interviews. The services are still available though the Senior Business Bureau website at www.SeniorBB.org
The services offered through the bureau are free to seniors, and charge a small nominal fee for its business members. Anyone seeking further information can go to www.SeniorBB.org for further details.
