For the first time in North America, 15 top Slovenian designers will unveil their 2006 Spring/Summer collections, presented by The Slovenian Embassy and EuroBrand Imports Inc. The fashion world will be excited by the unique talents of these brands already known throughout Central and Eastern Europe. Their arrival to the North American markets has long been awaited and much anticipated.
The lines to be debuted are as follows;
Bros; Elkroy; Gorenjska Oblacila; Irony; Josephine; Labod; Mak; Odeja; Polzela;Pentlja; Savoy; Sens; Trend Stil; Urko; and Vinter Sport . ( Selected Women’s Casual, Evening, Lingerie and Men’s Sport )
Extolling designs that are contemporary and elegant, the Slovenian design industry has been the best-kept secret for brands like Hugo Boss and Dolce & Gabbana. Slovenian designers are now poised to come out of their shadows without compromising the individuality of their clients who like to follow the current fashion trends. The primary focus of this event will be to introduce and showcase these top Slovenian designers to the North American market via Toronto. When it comes to wardrobe “building”, the rule is to invest all your money in quality shoes and hand bags, and the rest will follow. However, once you get a taste of the Spring/Summer collections “Made in Slovenia”, this rule may no longer apply.
