Ebay shop, Glitzy Garments gains instant success and plans to expand even further.

Owners, Vikkie Richmond and Paul Smith, both 22, originally studied degrees in English and Psychology respectively at the University of Lincoln, where they used to sell the “odd bit” to make a bit of extra pocket money on the online auction website, eBay. After completing their degrees, they capitalised on their success by going into business together and forming the successful eBay shop, Glitzy Garments. But what has shocked them even more is quite how in demand it has proved to be.
“Things are really speeding up. We’re sure big things are to come for Glitzy Garments!” said Vikkie. “Sometimes it’s hard to even list some of our garments because our friends and family want to see what I have first!”
Paul and Vikkie’s business has recently achieved “Platinum PowerSeller” an eBay selling status that is rewarded to eBayers who sell a certain amount every three months, and know they are soon to reach the highest level, “Titanium.”
However great their collection of the latest fashion trends may be, Vikkie feels that Glitzy Garments will only improve as the pair gain experience.
“We put so much effort into our business, but I am constantly thinking of ways to improve things and push myself that little bit further - we aim to be the best!
“Our business means a lot to us and we love our work so much that we are now planning to design and manufacture our own glitzy garments in order to sell the best clothes out there!”
They now have hundreds of returning customers and have sent to a handful of famous places, such as the Capitol Records tower and Celador, makers of popular game show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” and hope send to many more!
