August 18, 2005 (Press Release) -- HONG KONG SAR, PRC - Aug 10, 2005, Hong Kong - Bloombase Technologies announced today to open a new research and development center in Science Park, Hong Kong SAR.

The center will focus on several main areas: high-speed hardware cryptographic technologies, high-performance storage cryptography processing, low-cost encryption consumer products, international and location issues.

The move is part of Bloombase's increased investment in China. Hong Kong as the open-window of China Mainland to the world and with vast supply of product engineers in the region, Bloombase's new R&D center will help to tailor their product line better suiting the industry and provide better technical support and services to the Asia Pacific region around the clock.
