August 24, 2005 (Press Release) --
The inaugural Celebrate the Divine Feminine conference will launch at the Sedona Creative Life Center, a stunning facility set in red rock country. Stellar Productions’ three day event runs Friday, Sept. 16 through Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005.
Karen Koebnick, Director of Stellar Productions, thinks she’s struck a previously undetected chord with this new conference. “So many people are struggling to bring together the feminine and masculine sides of themselves in a culture that likes to exaggerate one part or another,” she said, “ when I present the idea of this conference to them, they’ve just grabbed the idea and run with it. My phone has been ringing day and night with calls from men and women who want to speak at this conference, or attend or sell their wares. We are going to break new ground with a line-up of exciting performers and speakers, exhibitors and motivated audiences in this beautiful setting in Sedona.”
Featured celebrities at the Celebration include well-known authors Dannion and Kathryn Brinkley speaking on “The Divine Feminine”, TV and radio stars Michael and Raphaelle Tamura on “Healing the Spiritual Dynamics in Your Relationships”, famed teacher Sondra Ray on “Celebrate the Divine Mother” and internationally known Sedona residents, Dr. Chet Snow and Kalista Snow, speaking on “Signs of Destiny”. They will be joined by many others for 3 days filled with information, workshops, music and dance.
Evenings will feature musical performances and Sunday night will be capped off with a play. All are welcome to the vendor exhibit area, while tickets to all events are available online through www.celebratethedivinefeminine.com. A full list of speakers and schedule is also available at this site.
Koebnick continues to be amazed at the enthusiasm her new conference generates and thinks some of the interest has been sparked by the media, such as TV shows and the coming movie featuring Dan Brown’s book, “The DaVinci Code”. She also cites increasing interest in the unexplainable, such as that shown in the NBC hit series, “The Medium”, based on the work of well-known Phoenix police consultant and psychic, Allison DuBois. But beyond this recent attention there is much new research now available on the Divine Feminine stemming from archeology, mythology, history and religious studies. “ Increasingly,” she says, “people want to put these findings to work for themselves, to make their own lives better and more understandable in an often confusing world. This conference is an opportunity to get away from the rush of daily life and to heal that male-female split that resides within all of us.”
“I’ve been organizing conferences in Arizona for 20 years,” Koebnick said. “I’ve never had so much excitement as from those who want to come to help Celebrate the Divine Feminine. And,” she added, “September is a great time to celebrate the beginning of the fall season in Sedona.”
