Phoenix – Joseph Murray, 38, has joined DFD CornoyerHedrick as a senior designer. He brings 18 years experience on myriad building types to the firm.
“I joined DFD for the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects,” stated Murray, “and to work in a culture that is passionate about architecture and design – it is very important to me to be surrounded by individuals who are as enthusiastic about what they do as I am.” Murray will focus on retail, high-rise residential, office and mixed-use projects.

Murray, a self-confessed “architecture geek,” studied design at California State Polytechnic University, Southern California Institute of Architecture and Arizona State University. His work to date has won several industry awards. Murray is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is actively involved with the FQ Story historic district in downtown Phoenix, where he resides in with his wife and daughter.
