The Church of Scientology Volunteer Ministers of Oregon are putting on a benefit concert Friday, September 16th and 2636 NE Sandy, Portland, Oregon from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm to raise money and needed items to aid relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Hundreds of Volunteer Ministers from all over the United States have already been dispatched to assist the hardest hit areas in Louisiana. Five Volunteer Ministers from Portland have already left for Baton Rouge with another seven to leave in an RV and a truck pulling a trailer loaded with the famous yellow "Something Can Be Done About It" tent and needed supplies.
To get into the concert is free but we are asking peoeple to bring essentials such as paper towels, diapers, personal grooming aids, water, toilet paper, battries and flashlights. Cash donations will be accepted as well and will be used to assist more Volunteer Ministers to go to the disaster area.
