September 15, 2005 (Press Release) --
CSA & MCA ENTER INTO PARTNERSHIP, SIGN A MOU TO JOINTLY PROMOTE YOUTH CRICKET IN THE REGION
Sept 9, 2005, Aurora, IL
Cricketed Sporting Academy (CSA) and Michigan Cricket Academy (MCA) announced today that they have partnered to jointly promote youth cricket activities in the Midwest region and beyond.
CSA’s officials stated, “We are extremely happy that the MCA has decided to partner with us in this Herculean endeavor of promoting, educating and nurturing young cricketers in the region and beyond. Young cricketers, who are the future of US cricket, need a broader platform to continuously perform at various settings. Unless all the regional bodies join hands and work together, this will remain as a dream at its best. CSA and MCA have common goals and vision and we trust each other”
MCA officials said “We are honored to have a partnership with a senior organization like CSA which has been promoting Cricket in the greater Chicago area for several years now. Our goal of promoting Cricket in the area complements very well with CSA’s goals and activities. MCA hopes to realize great synergies between the two dedicated organizations in the mid west which spells goods news for Cricket in the area”
Both MCA and CSA noted that their relationship goes back to 2003 when CSA undertook a trip to Michigan and played 2 exhibition matches with them. Since then MCA has been working with CSA and they played in the U-13 tournament in 2003 hosted by CSA, besides sharing players in a joint trip to Florida in December 2004 for the U-15 tournament.
