September 18, 2005

Laypersons take back computer control. See what needs to be running and what is merely eating up valuable resources. Take control by disabling those annoying programs freezing up the computer.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) September 18, 2005 -- System Tracker 2.0 is totally free software which allows the layperson the ability to audit the programs running on their computer. This can be done by viewing what needs to be running and what is merely eating up valuable resources and by disabling those annoying programs freezing up the computer with easy right-click control.

System Tracker 2.0 Provides Total Computer Control through Informed Decision Making and an Easy Right-Click

AuditMySoftware.com provides this Windows PC software download free of charge for private or commercial use. The download is complemented by the online Process Archive, which provides process definitions plus additional information. Together these tools provide the user with the ability to make an informed decision about whether to disable processes via instant right-click control.

Specifically, the download is quick and easy. A launch of the desktop icon provides a real-time list of all processes running. Processes using up memory as well as those scheduled to run at startup are easily evaluated by accessing the ‘Process’ tab and/or the ‘Startup’ tab. The computer brain power used by any active process is identified in the ‘CPU Usage’ column within the ‘Process’ tab. For further information about a particular process, a right-click on the specific process and a scroll-down to and click on, ‘Info Selected Item’, will prompt the ‘Process Archive’ and avail the definition.

Processes deemed undesirable/desirable can be made to not start or, to start, with again right-click control and a right-click on ‘Add to NoStart’ or ‘Add to StartUp’. Processes deemed forever undesirable can be deleted permanently with a right-click on ‘Kill Process/Delete’.

Accessing the online Process Archive provides additional information about the processes to assist in ascertaining which processes are necessary. Unnecessary processes can then be stopped by clicking the ‘X’ icon - kill button, and can be permanently removed with a right-click to the ‘NoStart’ tab.

It is entirely plausible that additional processes have been installed over time without user/owner permission or fault. To complicate matters, some processes although deleted with other utilities, are somehow reinstalled. There is no good reason why in this situation, the user should have to pay with their time and money. System Tracker 2.0 was created by users who experienced just this and purposefully determined to create and provide the program for free to all, no strings attached. Computer users everywhere can now take back control without a guru or spending money.
