The World is at war between the Good People of Peace and the Evil people of hate, violence, killing.

The World is at war between the ideologies. That of Peace, tolerance, caring and respect for others, life, law, property and the environment. and the ugly fanaticism of Evil, hate, violence, destruction, terrorism and killing.
The concept of war to resolve conflict though inconcistant to the concept of peace, is hard to avoid when faced with the evil of terrorism.
However People of peace tend to do good like provide aid to the victims of disaster, and have developed many aid organisations like Red Cross, World Vision, etc. and have come together as the United Nations in an attempt to avoid the senseless loss of life and devastation of war and facilitating cooperation in international law, security, economic development, and social equity.
It is in working together that we can do better. Although the United Nations is not perfect, it is showing signs of reform and hope for the good of the world. If only all nations can now commit to the true culture of peace, to overcome natural disasters, eliminate poverty and disease and outlaw war, terrorism will no longer find a breeding ground.
