September 26, 2005 (Press Release) --
The Princeton Center for NLP, a training and consulting firm in Princeton, has created a seminar based on a little-known but easy to learn collection of behavior patterns that allows People to influence others in powerful ways.
These behavior patterns called Words That Change Minds©, was created by Shelly Rose Charvet and adapted by Mary Demetria Davis for delivery to the general public. Words That Change Minds© is an application of techniques from the field of neuro-linguistic programming, also known as NLP, a new communication science.
“Words That Change Minds© allows people to predict how a person will behave in a given situation by hearing the behavioral patterns embedded in language of their everyday conversation", says Mary Demetria Davis, Co-director of the Princeton Center for NLP.
"People can actually customize their language for a specific person or group to trigger motivation and communicate more effectively to get results”, says Davis. "The knowledge people gain from using Words That Change Minds© increases their ability to influence and persuade. It eases the process of communication and creates an understanding of how to motivate others. There are 16 patterns that are easy to recognize and then apply. The patterns are easy to learn because we are already using at least eight of the patterns. Once we identify and label these patterns, we instantly remember them and the other eight opposing patterns."
Words That Change Minds© is offered in a series of seminar's by the Princeton Center for NLP. The first introductory seminar, Words That Change Minds© I will be offered on October 15, 2005 at the Center's training facility in Kinston NJ, one mile north of downtown Princeton.
