Since 1957 Town Line Laundermat, has been providing Watertown, Massachusetts area residents wash, dry and fold, shirt, dry cleaning as well as drop off and pick up and delivery laundry services.
Town Line’s customer base usually consists of senior citizens, the handicapped, business professionals, singles and corporate accounts. Recently, there has been an increase in married couples and families using their services.
According to the management, “the end of the summer is always busy as many patrons are closing up their summer homes. However, in addition to the typical sheets, pillowcases, towels and comforters, many of the laundries now include children’s clothing. Several customers have indicated that the high cost of water and fuel is one of their primary reasons for utilizing our services.”
Town Line Laundermat also indicated an increase in purchases for its’ 30” x 40” large and 30” x 45” extra large nylon locking-drawstring laundry bags. Previous purchases were mostly for medium strapped and non-strapped laundry bags.
