Microsoft Founder Bill Gates gives 40 million Dollars to his old High School

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 27, 2005 -- Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, who was also a pupil at Lakeside School, and he has previously given the school a donation of $20,000,000 Dollars. What are they studying at that School? All our School needs is about $4,500 which would be about one day's interest of that amount. Can you hear me Bill Gates? I said: One day's interest!

What have we done done to help ourselves in this village so far? Last year we were able to raise neough funds to provide the Landookmai School with two Pentium Computers with complete and licensed Windows XP Professional Operating Systems. This was done in the most part through donations.

But the School has not stood still over the last year and through other sources acquired a total of 13 additional computer systems, that have been configured into a network and are ready to be connected to the Internet. There is still about $300 of that bill to be paid, but, the Teachers are working on that.

Within the next few weeks we will be connecting the entire School network to a Broadband Internet connection with the costs being absorbed by a sponsor.

The School will also receive free webhosting through www.Michelonia-Thailand.com , so that the students can have a School website and help maintain the village website.
