The POR-15 Store Introduces U.S. Standard Fuel Tank Sealer

Valparaiso, IN –- The POR-15 Store would like to introduce their U.S. Standard Fuel Tank Sealer. It was formulated and developed in our own laboratories due to the demand for a high-tech sealer that is impervious to all fuels, including the new Stage 2 fuels, which have higher alcohol content. It has superior strength and fuel resistance, and does not contain Methyl Ethyl Ketone, a highly flammable and deadly carcinogen (cancer-causing). In fact, U.S. Standard Fuel Tank Sealer is non-flammable as well as environmentally safe.
Some typical problems resulting in the need for sealing include (but are not limited to): rust due to years of non-use, tanks containing gum, varnish, or caked sludge deposits, tanks with pinholes or leaking seams.
By acting as a non-porous barrier coat between the metal tank and moisture from the air, U.S. Standard Fuel Tank Sealer stops rust, corrosion and leaks permanently. It will chemically bond to metal surfaces, even if they’re rusty. It is also a flexible coating, allowing for expanding and contracting due to weather change as well as gas temperature change. As well as being flexible, it is also so strong that it will not crack, chip or peel. The U.S. Standard Fuel Tank Sealer is light gray in color for easier viewing inside the tank.
