Cosmetic Surgery Center Offers Reconstructive Program

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 28, 2005 -- Fort Lauderdale, FL, September 24, 2005 - The South Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery based in Fort Lauderdale is committed to helping breast cancer victims who could benefit from breast reconstructive surgery, but lack the financial resources required.

The unique pro-bono breast reconstruction program comes at little or no cost to those who quality. The program is a four-way partnership between The American Cancer Society, The South Florida Center, its surgeons, and the Mentor Corporation. The Center provides the operating room space, anesthesia, supplies, and follow up care at no cost, and the surgery is offered free of charge. Additionally, the Mentor Corporation provides the required implants at no cost.

The American Cancer Society works with the providers to identify potential applicants for this program. Women who are interested in participating in this program can apply through the American Cancer Society, or may apply on line. On-line applications are confidential and will result in a follow-up call from one of our consultants.
