Adestra have today begun a research program to understand UK direct marketer’s opinions of fax marketing and the challenges they are facing when using the medium.

Oxford UK – Adestra, the UK based digital marketing agency providing email, fax and SMS broadcast services have today begun a research program to understand UK direct marketer’s opinions of fax marketing and the challenges they are facing when using the medium.
The research will combine findings from an online survey of direct marketers with face-to-face interviews with attendees of the forthcoming DM Show. The results will be combined and published through the Adestra fax marketing best practice section of the Adestra web site to answer questions including:
 The future for fax marketing: is this a dying medium?
 How will volumes of fax marketing broadcasts by UK direct marketers change in the future?
 How do UK fax marketers use fax promotions?
 How do UK fax marketers believe they can improve their fax promotions most?
 Do UK fax marketer measure an ROI for their fax marketing broadcasts?
Henry Hyder-Smith, Managing Director for Adestra commented “many direct marketers see fax marketing as a redundant medium which has been replaced by email marketing. The number of clients regularly using Adestra’s fax broadcast services suggests otherwise, and the purpose of this research is to understand for the first time exactly what the industry thinks”
