New networking group helps Scottish entrepreneurs get in touch without leaving their desk

Scotland's premier free business networking group, Business Buzz, is under new management this week, after central Scotland's Call the Butler and Livingston-based Hot Igloo Productions Ltd. joined forces to acquire the organisation.
Business Buzz launched earlier this year, and combines online business networking opportunities via its website, www.businessbuzz.org, with regular free meetings at a range of venues around Scotland.
Barry Hynd, of Call the Butler said: "As the owner of a lifestyle management company, I'm obviously aware of how short on time most people are. Most business owners are very aware of the importance of networking, but many of them just don't have the time to devote to attending meetings.
"Of course, Business Buzz offers offline networking too, in the form of regular meet-ups, but the fact that our members are able to talk to each other online, using the Business Buzz discussion board, means that they can fit their networking around their other commitments, visiting the community at any time of the day or night."
Amber McNaught, of web design and PR firm Hot Igloo Productions, added: "We're very excited to be involved in the development of Business Buzz. The community already has over 350 members, and is growing all the time. It's an excellent resource, which allows Scottish business owners to seek help and advice from their fellow entrepreneurs, and, of course, to just relax and take some time out from their business to chat.
"Over the next few months, we hope to develop the community even further, and will be running some competitions and events, so now is a good time to join."
