ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Gulden Akinci has Ph.D. degree in physics. She worked as a physicist at the University of Maine, the University of Maryland and as a guest scientist in NIST. Later she worked as a computer programmer in several Fortune 500 companies. During these years, she also worked as a private tutor and thought math and science to middle school, high school and college students.
For the last three years, she devoted all her time to developing and testing the “Private Tutor” Method for SAT math test preparation. The project first started out of her desire to help her own son prepare for college. Later it developed into a full fledged method for all students who want to score high in SAT math. Her first book, PRIVATE TUTOR © FOR SAT MATH SUCCESS 2006 will be published soon.
